Rant
Journal Entry: Sat Nov 11, 2006, 11:24 PM
I have been unbelievably bored lately and so have been reading other's online stories. I have stumbled upon something I find rather obnoxious, since it seems to be infecting everywhere. Fan fiction.
Now, it didn't used to bother me by just being. You just skip over it, and be done. What irritates me is that you can't It's almost ALL fan fiction. Is there no reality on the internet whatsoever? Wow, just realized my question there. Nevermind.
I personally think fan fiction is the stupidest thing made. I don't care if the writing itself is good. I just dislike the fact it's probably someone sitting for hours upon hours with no life, writing cheesy stories about 'themselves' or their self-inspired character having romantic interaction with a fictional character they spend time fantasizing about.
That brings up another question. Why is it always fangirl romance writing? Do they not have anything better to do than fantasize about anime characters? Or any characters for that matter. You know what I'd like to see? Someone who has hate relations with fictional characters. Maybe it's still fan fiction, but it would be way more entertaining. Someone should set themselves in a story and kill Inyu yasha, heck why stop there?
I feel better. Hobo was right, DA journals are good for rants.
New goal: use writing to kill off fangirl magnets.
